Main Factors Affecting Nonmetallic Whiteness

Whiteness mainly refers to the degree of whiteness of the object. The higher the whiteness value of the object, the greater the degree of whiteness. White has its unique properties, that is, high light reflection ratio and low color saturation. Because people have different standards for evaluating white, the results of whiteness tests are also different. Among them, the main factors affecting the whiteness test of non-metallic ores can be analyzed from three aspects, including mining area location, particle size of ore powder and water content of non-metallic ores.

1. Mining area location   

In different mining areas, the purity of non-metallic ores will also be different, so the whiteness of non-metallic ores will be different after finishing the processing work. In mining and exporting of non-metallic ores, high purity ores should be selected, and neutral tones should be chosen for ore types. Only in this way can the whiteness of ores be ensured after reprocessing. In addition, in ore processing, we must pay attention to the same tone ore to be processed together. Ore tones should be strictly classified and processed according to classification. Ores with different tones can not be confused together for processing. Only in this way can the purity of ore be ensured and the whiteness value of ore be improved.

2.Granularity of ore fines

Generally speaking, the higher the degree of ore processing is, and the higher the whiteness value is. However, in the actual processing process, the degree of ore processing is also strictly regulated. After the ore processing level reaches the standard, the whiteness value will not be increased, or the whiteness value will change slightly. At the same time, further processing will increase workload, reduce work efficiency, and is not conducive to saving processing costs.

3.Water Content of Non-metallic Mines

Soil water content in different mining areas will also be different, which will lead to different water content of ores, and ore water content is also one of the main factors affecting whiteness value. Because, the higher the water content of the ore, the lower the whiteness. Appropriately reducing the water content of the ore can effectively improve the whiteness. Therefore, in ore processing, it is necessary to adopt scientific and effective methods to reduce the water content of ore, only in this way can the processed ore have a higher whiteness value, so as to obtain greater benefits in the export of non-metallic ore.
